What we collect
Nothing. notion-2-obsidian is a local tool that runs on your machine. There is no server, no telemetry, no analytics. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any user data.
What the tool accesses
- Notion API. The tool calls Notion's official API using the integration token you provide. Calls go directly from your machine to
api.notion.com. - Notion-hosted files. Images and attachments referenced in your pages are downloaded from Notion's S3 URLs directly to your local disk.
- Your local filesystem. The output vault is written to a path you choose.
Your Notion data
The integration token only has access to pages and databases you explicitly share with it inside Notion. You can revoke the token at any time from your Notion integrations page.
Third parties
The tool does not call any service besides Notion's API and the file URLs Notion itself emits. There are no third-party trackers, no ads, no SDKs.
Open source
The source code is public at github.com/oandre/notion-2-obsidian. You can audit exactly what the tool does.
